20. There are no examples of infant baptism in the Bible. Baptism is supposed to be a public declaration of a situation, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, that exists in one's heart. We do it to be obedient. Jesus told us to do it but he didn't mention doing it to our babies or children.

27. This is a very personal matter and I have no idea why it has made the news. Just because someone "comes from a Catholic country" does not mean one is Catholic or that they practise the tenants of the faith. While I had my children baptized, I no longer attend Church services. To be honest, what we say and think is also of no importance in this and most cases that we post about. I also find that religious zelots that seem to think that they know all to be a big joke. Some had best look at their own lives before pointing fingers and damning others to hell fire. They may find that the fingers they point also point back at them...

And infant baptism is in the Bible...look in Acts..."and they baptized entire families..." what do you think 'entire' means? Grandparents, aunts, uncles, children, babies, moms, dads.....ENTIRE!! Shame on this actress for not following her Catholic tradition and washing Original Sin from the soul of her daughter!

16. True Biblical baptism is not for infants, but for repentent sinners. An infant is not capable of knowing that he/she is in sin and therefore cannot repent. It is a heretical teaching of the Catholic church.
