Seeing as how MGS is completely uninteresting to me, and how Little Big Planet looks like a combination of Black & White and Peggle, there now is no reason to consider repurchasing a PS3. (I got one on launch day but promptly sold it).

Did you watch the E3 Live coverage on G4? During the Final Fantasy XIII announcement, they had to zoom waaaaaay out because Microsoft made them, so you could barely tell it was final fantasy. They should fail themselves on that front.
One more game I don't need to buy for my PS3.

I am still a little overwhelmed about the announcement and I truly feel this bittersweet. Bitter cause its no longer an exclusive for PS3 and sweet cause 360 owners will enjoy a great game. However, I don't believe that this game will be released in JP for the 360. If that is truly the case, then cool. Happy E3 everybody, PEACE!

Dude, it's like you've never heard of Little Big Horn or the Alamo. But you're right, I don't foresee taking even second place without FFXIII exclusive sales.

When Microsoft began the keynote saying they'll have the top-selling console of this generation, I thought they were full of it.
But after this slew of announcements - and FFXIII - I think they're right. Unless Sony can pull out all the stops, I'm never getting a PS3.

I bought a PS3 for Final Fantasy XIII and for blu-ray. Now my PS3 has become just a movie machine now. I'll be buying my copy of FFXIII for my Xbox 360. Thanks Microsoft! My life is complete now.

Actually, I was going to borrow someone else's PS3... if I was even going to play it at all, since I don't trust Squenix with the FF franchise anymore after they fucked it up the last three times. I guess now I don't have to think about it either way.

Ya, i agree, there are some other games but ff13 was a huge one, i think people will buy a ps3 now when it is much much cheaper. SONY scrwed up, i think they lost this gen for sure and they wil be outsold by the 360 now this year, im dissapointed in square enix, for makign me abuy a ps3 (even though i love soem games and can't wait for little big planet) i woulda saved soem money (im still buying a 360 this year) somuch moeny gone.

Ditto. There have been no PS3 games besides Resistance 2 that I've wanted to play. As long as Square releases FFXII: Versus and KHIII for 360 as well, I won't ever need a $400-$500 RPG player.

There were rumours of a Final Fantasy 7 remake. That'd do it.
Still, it is a massive blow. This is an exclusive of MGS4-style proportions (if not bigger). Sony would have paid big to keep it, so there must have been an agreement: I'm guessing at exclusive content and an exclusive FF7 remake.

After playing MGS4, I now have no reason to keep my PS3 now FFXIII is going to be on the 360 as well. Now we have to wonder about the timing. Is the PS3 and 360 launch going to happen at the same time? Or will sony still have a timed exclusive?
Sony better really have something huge at its press conference tomorrow. Or I think they have lost me as a customer.
